McCarthyism is a tremendous example of the consequences of a nation that relies upon being too inclusive. Inclusive in the context of classifying what is and what is not a true American or true believer in American values. When a society resorts to strict centralization, it deprives itself from adapting an ideology that encompasses the acceptance of other belief systems. Absolute unity must be achieved through the progression of a decentralized ideal system that incorporates an accepting adaptive nature.
